Cecilia Capuano King was raised in Commack, NY and graduated from Commack High School North. She then attended SUNY Albany and earned her Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Capuano King went on to attend Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine and received her doctorate. She then completed a two year medical and surgical residency at the VA Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She was named Chief resident in the final year of her residency. Her training there focused on diabetic limb salvage and preventative foot care. Dr. Capuano King’s work on Complex Regional Pain Syndrome has been published in a 1999 issue of JAPMA.
